When you look at the history of the "War on Drugs" there seems to be so much built on Paranoia and cultural stereotypes. I tend to ask them how voting for someone I disagree on most issues just to vote against the guy who I disagree with on almost all the issues isn't "throwing my vote away"? Our founding fathers intended for us to vote for the man who would best serve as President of the United States. I believe they are rolling over in their graves at the idea of voting for the lessor of two evils instead of the candidate you actually agree with.
